CHECKLISTS

Infants & Toddlers

  • Are there infant cribs/cots for each infant?
  • Are toys sanitized daily?
  • Are the care, meals, and nap times personalized for you infant's needs?
  • Are there quiet rooms for infants to nap?
  • Are play and daily routines used as opportunities for nurturing and learning?
  • Are the toys safe for your infant?
  • Do the toys and materials offer interesting and challenging activities?

Preschool

Does the curriculum prepare your child for school?

  • Are a wide range of instructional methods used, such as small-group learning, whole group learning and individual learning?

School-Age

  • Is safe and reliable transportation provided to and from school?
  • Is there an area where children can do homework after school?
  • Is there a variety of fun, engaging activities for children to choose from?
  • Do both the classroom and outdoor play area encourage creativity and independence?
